This 7-day Tanzania luxury + premium safari allows you to see the Northern Safari Circuit’s highlights. In the midst of some of the most diverse landscapes, you will encounter breathtaking wildlife. See monkeys in the forest, lions in trees, elephants among the acacias, and a wide range of animals inside a volcano that has erupted. The world-famous Serengeti will also be visited. The scenery is breathtaking, and the variety and quantity of wildlife you’ll see will leave you speechless.
A Kitamu Experience representative will pick you up from the airport and transfer to your Arusha lodging, where you will spend the night, relax, and prepare for the adventures ahead.
Our safari guide will pick you up from your Arusha lodgings in the morning. On a good tarmac road through gently rolling Maasai plains with scattered acacia trees, we’ll set out for Tarangire National Park. We’ll pass many Maasais walking along the roadside, riding bicycles, herding cattle, and driving donkey carts as we speed along. Tarangire is known for its large elephant herds, but it also has a diverse range of other animals. We’ll see the seasonal swamps, savanna, and life-giving Tarangire River from the open roof of our state-of-the-art safari jeep. Attempt to see a variety of animals, including zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant, and giraffe, to name a few. We might see lions stalking prey or leopards relaxing in the trees above, watching.
You’ll drive to one of our hand-picked luxury partner lodges for dinner in a fine restaurant, a relaxing dip in the pool, and a spacious room.
After breakfast, you will travel to the fertile highlands of Iraq people in Karatu, where the Iraqw people grow wheat and corn. We’ll pass through the mist-shrouded rainforests of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area along the way, where you might spot baboons, leopards, and elephants in the dense undergrowth. You will be able to see the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater as you pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before continuing on to the Serengeti National Park, which you will arrive at around midday. Serengeti National Park is Tanzania’s largest park, with a diverse range of landscapes and habitats, including grassy plains, swamps, lakes, savannah, and mountains. You will be driven to your accommodation after an extensive game drive, where you will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.
You will spend a full day in this amazing location, exploring the park, its animals, and the breathtaking scenery. The Serengeti is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including impala, buffalo, crocodiles, and hippos, but it is best known for its vast herds of zebras and wildebeest migrating across the plains. The animals’ journey is determined by the amount of rain that falls each year, which varies from year to year. Aside from the migrating herds, predators such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions may be seen.
After breakfast, you’ll go on a final Serengeti game drive before heading to the Ngorongoro Crater. You’ll get your first glimpse of what awaits you the next day when you arrive at the crater’s edge in the afternoon—glistening streams, open grassland, and an infinite number of animals. You’ll spend the night on the rim of the Crater at a nearby lodge.
You will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest volcanic caldera, after breakfast. It’s nearly 20 kilometres wide and 610 meters deep, and it’s known for its diverse wildlife. Various springs attract animals such as wildebeest, gazelles, reedbucks, and over 500 bird species, in addition to the Big Five. You’ll eat lunch at a picnic site before continuing your game viewing in the crater. Following an extensive game drive, you will be driven to your Karatu lodging for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a small but diverse park. A shallow salt lake bears the park’s name. Thousands of flamingos and over 500 other bird species call it home. It covers a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons. Monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalos, elephants, and, with luck, lions lounging in the trees will greet you as you explore the park. You will return to Arusha in the afternoon.
