This safari package will provide you with an exciting opportunity to visit some of northern Tanzania’s most beautiful parks. This includes a visit to Serengeti National Park’s endless plains. In the southeast, it is known for its grassland plains. The scenery is breathtaking, and it feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere. All of the major safari animals can be found in large numbers. You’ll also go to the Ngorongoro Crater, also known as the “Garden of Animals,” where you have a good chance of seeing all five of the Big Five in one day.
You’ll be picked up from your Arusha hotel at 6:30 a.m. and driven to Serengeti National Park via Karatu’s beautiful highland farmland and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We’ll leave the highlands behind and descend into the Serengeti National Park, home to endless plains that stretch as far as the eye can see. We’ll go to the Seronera area of Central Park, which is one of the park’s most diverse wildlife habitats. It includes the Seronera River, which serves as a vital water source for the area and thus attracts wildlife that represents the majority of Serengeti species. We’ll arrive in time for lunch and go on a game drive in the afternoon.
Today you will go on a full-day game drive in the Serengeti, where you will have the opportunity to see predators chasing their prey and feasting on their kill. The Serengeti is without a doubt the world’s most well-known wildlife sanctuary, unparalleled in terms of natural beauty and scientific value. You’ll go on a game drive through the Serengeti’s endless plains, where you might see large herds of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, or a pride of lions lounging in the shade.
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before meeting your guide for a final morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. After that, you’ll depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping for a game drive and a picnic lunch along the way. Ngorongoro is not a national park, but rather a special conservation area. The entire area is managed to benefit both the animals and the Maasai people who graze their cattle alongside the native wildlife.
You’ll descend into the crater after breakfast for 5 hours of game drives. The Ngorongoro Crater, home to an estimated 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos, is one of the world’s most densely populated African wildlife areas.
The crater supports a diverse range of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, elands, warthogs, hippos, and giant African elephants, thanks to year-round water and fodder. The park’s large predator population, which includes lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard, is another major draw. On the crater floor, we’ll have a picnic lunch.
We’ll return to Arusha late in the afternoon and drop you off at your hotel
